I recently had the honor and privilege to write an article for the lovely Ana at HintHacks.com about the power of meal-prep to save time and money while reducing food waste AND your waistline. It was fun to share some hacks to help you out in “the kitch'” that will also help you out at the grocery store, at the office, and at the gym.
I read this awesome quote this morning regarding the value of keystone habits and what makes them different from commonplace habits. Keystone habits are things we do that influence how we do everything else, or the commonplace habits. The influence may be subtle, subconscious even; nonetheless, it can create massive success in other areas.
According to Charles Duhigg, author of The Power of Habit, keystone habits “encourage change by creating structures that help other habits to flourish.” In other words, keystone habits enhance your ability to succeed with other healthy habits.
Meal-prep is a keystone habit that can allow you to make positive strides in every area of your life. Don’t believe me? Try it for yourself, and see how it works for you!
